Privacy Policy

Last updated October 11, 2026

This policy explains what information Tallyhouse (tallyhouse.pages.dev), operated by Bemonix ("we", "us"), collects when you use the site and how it's used.

The short version

  • Our tools run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type in are not sent to us.
  • Some tools remember your last inputs on your own device (using your browser's local storage) so you don't have to retype them. You can clear this at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
  • We show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve and measure those ads, as explained below.
  • We do not sell your personal information, and we don't ask you to create an account.

Information we collect

Information you enter into tools. Calculations happen in your browser. We don't receive or store what you type. If you use a feature such as "Save" or "Print / PDF", the result stays on your device.

Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply, and we keep it only as long as needed.

Technical information. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic request data (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time) in server logs, for security and to keep the site running. These logs are kept for a limited time.

Cookies and advertising

We use Google AdSense to show advertising, which pays for the site. In connection with this:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
  • If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they'll be less relevant to you.

To learn more, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent message, provided through Google's certified consent tools, before personalised ads or non-essential cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy link that message provides.

Local storage

Some tools save your inputs in your browser's local storage so they're still there when you come back. This data never leaves your device and isn't used for advertising. Clear it by deleting this site's data in your browser settings.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information about you, and to object to or limit certain processing. Because we hold very little personal data, most requests are simple. Email hello@tallyhouse.example and we'll respond within the time the law requires. California residents: we do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA. Advertising cookies set by Google are governed by Google's policies and the opt-out options above.

Children

Tallyhouse is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

Links to other sites

Our guides sometimes link to other websites. We aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.
